As an AAA Diamond Member, Hungry Horse Montana's Historic Tamarack Lodge offers Private Glacier National Park Cabin Rentals, Unit Cabins and a Glacier National Park Bed and Breakfast with all facilities updated in 2003.
These Glacier Park cabins are conveniently located in the heart of Flathead Canyon, just outside of Glacier National Park. Known for it's outstanding hospitality, huge continental breakfast and great rates, the Historic Tamarack Lodge Hungry Horse Montana resort facility is situated in a spectacular mountain valley in the midst of the Montana Rockies, surrounded by the Flathead National Forest.
On site amenities include:
- Free continental breakfast for all unit cabin guests (8:00 AM to 10:00 AM). All other guests have a kitchenetteor full kitchen.
- Full cooked breakfast for Bed and Breakfast guests.

Anytime of the year step out on the porch and view the sunset, the stars or the shocking blue of the Montana sky. After a peaceful nights rest, awaken to the aroma of a hearty Montana Breakfast, dine in the sunroom or in front of the fireplace.
The B&B room include handcrafted log Queen sized bed carpeted floors, lofted ceiling, original woodwork, wireless internet, sinks and closet space.
Relax in the lodge area with a good book, drink a toddy or hot chocolate while curled up on the oversized leather furniture listening to relaxing music on the surround sound system.
The beautifully appointed guest room reflects the style, luxurious comfort and fun-loving nature of the Historic Tamarack Lodge and the entire Glacier National Park area. Room rates include a hearty Montana breakfast and use of the Lodge's common areas. We have a great menu to choose from. Each Unit Cabins face the western sky and enjoy wonderful evening sunsets. Unit Cabins enjoy the added convenience of parking right in front of your personal entrance. Unit Cabin rates include a continental breakfast in the Lodge, as well as use of the Lodge's common areas, pool table and foos-ball table. AAA, AARP and government discounts are available along with weekly and monthly rates.
The Summit, Avalanche, Glacier, Iceberg, Grinnell and Alpine Cabins are now complete! Amazing structures designed with our guests in mind. Each cabin has two bedrooms each with one queen bed. Each room has a ceiling fan and adjustable lighting.
The kitchens are large and fully equipped. The bath is wonderfully designed with large mirrors and extra shelf space with a full tub/shower design. The living room has a large chair and a full sized futon couch. The flat screen TV is located in the living room. The deck is large and spans the entire width of the cabin. The roofline extends past the deck to allow you the ability to relax inside or out. A bistro set is also located on the deck. These cabins are located on the back side of our property overlooking the lodge and the rest of the facilities. In addition, these cabins provide you with a charcoal grill, with plenty of seating and eating areas. All bedding, linens, and bath towels are provided. Great views of Columbia and Teakettle mountains with a wooded setting.
Antelope Cabin
This spacious two room cabin has a cathedral ceiling. The master bedroom has two queen beds with a full bath. The living room has a couch, table and chairs for dining, large TV, and kitchenette. This cabin has a fully equipped kitchenette with separate parking and secluded entrance. The Cabin is located north of the main facilities area. An adjoining door allows this cabin to be combined with the Bison Cabin. In addition this cabin provides you with a private porch with charcoal grill, seating and eating area. All bedding, linens, and bath towels are provided. Wooded setting.
Bison Cabin
Their largest cabin has one bedroom with two queen beds and bedside TV, large closets and plenty of storage space. The cabin boasts a sitting/reading room, full living room, a complete kitchen with full sized appliances to include all kitchenware.
The bathroom is ajacent to the sitting room and has a tub/shower combo. Through an adjoining door, this cabin can be combined with the Antelope Cabin. The Bison Cabin can four comfortably with additional space in the living room for a roll-a-way or cot. In addition this cabin provides you with a private fenced backyard with charcoal grill, seating and eating area. All bedding, linens, and bath towels are provided. Wooded setting.
Grizzly Cabin
This cabin is a favorite of our guests. The cabin's ceiling is slighty lofted and has an open floor plan with two queen beds that are set side by side. This cabin sleeps up to 4, features a fully equipped kitchen with apartment sized appliances, a full bath with a tub/shower combo and is located south of the main facilities area. In addition this cabin provides you wth ample yardspace, charcoal grill, seating and eating area. All bedding, linens, and bath towels are provided.
