Columbia Falls and the surrounding areas offer numerous camping opportunities. Hungry Horse Reservoir
There are three campgrounds on the east side and six on the west side of the reservoir. There are four boat launch sites also with many opportunities for fishing and hiking. Water-skiing and swimming are also very popular.

Big Creek Campground
Big Creek Campground is located 20 miles north of Columbia Falls on the North Fork of the Flathead River. The river is the Western boundary of the park and has been designated a Wild and Scenic River.

There are also many private campgrounds between Columbia Falls and the West entrance to Glacier Park, as well as camping opportunities within Glacier Park.
